If you're shopping around for a new mobile plan in New Zealand, you've got more options than ever. The challenge isn't finding a plan, it's finding one that actually fits how you live and work without locking you into something you don't need. Here's a plain English rundown of our new PureLink Mobile plans, who each one suits, and how to pick the right fit, whether it's for you, your family, or your team.

What plans does PureLink Mobile offer?

We've kept things simple. Three plans, one price each, no fine print games. All plans run on the Spark mobile network, so you get reliable nationwide coverage from Cape Reinga to Bluff.

Lite, $45/month (GST included)

  • 5GB Endless Data
  • Unlimited calling to NZ and AUS
  • Unlimited texting to NZ and AUS
  • WiFi calling
  • WiFi hotspot data

Flex, $55/month (GST included), our most popular plan

  • 30GB Endless Data
  • Unlimited calling to NZ and AUS
  • Unlimited texting to NZ and AUS
  • WiFi calling
  • WiFi hotspot data

Max, $65/month (GST included)

  • 100GB Endless Data
  • Unlimited calling to NZ and AUS
  • Unlimited texting to NZ and AUS
  • WiFi calling
  • WiFi hotspot data

Same plans, same prices, whether you're picking one up for personal use or rolling them out across the team. Easy.

What does "Endless Data" actually mean?

Once you've used your fast data allowance for the month (5GB, 30GB, or 100GB depending on the plan), your connection keeps going at a slower speed until your next billing cycle. No surprise bills, no overage charges, no awkward conversations when the data runs out mid-month. You stay connected; you just won't be streaming 4K until things reset.

Which PureLink Mobile plan should I choose?

A quick way to think about it:

Choose Lite if you're mainly on WiFi at home and work, you use your mobile data for maps, messaging, and the odd Spotify session in the car, and you want to keep the monthly bill tidy. Great fit for seniors, second handsets, or kids' first phones.

Choose Flex if you're a typical Kiwi commuter or work-from-home pro who taps the data when out and about. Video calls on the go, social scrolling, navigation, the occasional Netflix episode in the waiting room. 30GB covers most people comfortably.

Choose Max if you're a heavy user, a tradie running quotes and job management apps from the ute all day, a gamer who hotspots when home WiFi drops, or anyone who streams, video calls, and uploads from their phone constantly. 100GB gives you breathing room.

Can I bundle mobile with my PureLink internet?

Yes, and you should. If you're already a PureLink internet customer (or thinking about switching your home or business internet to us), you get a discount for keeping it all under one roof. One provider, one bill, one number to call when you need a hand. That's the whole point.

It also means your mobile and internet work together properly. WiFi calling kicks in automatically when you're at home or in the office, so even in patchy reception areas your calls come through clear over your PureLink connection.

What about mobile for my business?

PureLink Business Mobile uses the same three plans (Lite, Flex, Max) at the same prices, but the value really shows up when you bundle them with your business internet and voice services.

For a tradie running five vans, a cafe with three staff phones, or an accounting firm with field consultants, that means:

  • One bill for internet, voice, and every mobile line
  • One local Hamilton-based team to call when something goes wrong (no offshore call centres, no vendor blame game)
  • Simple per-line pricing, so adding or removing a staff member takes a phone call, not a procurement process
  • WiFi calling that uses your business internet to cover reception black spots inside warehouses, sheds, or basement offices

If you're running a hospitality venue, a retail store, or a multi-site operation, the cost of mobile reception failing during a busy lunch service or an EFTPOS outage is far bigger than the line on the invoice. Reliable mobile, on a bill you can actually read, is the baseline.

Does PureLink Mobile work everywhere in New Zealand?

PureLink Mobile operates on the Spark mobile network, which has the broadest 4G and 5G coverage in the country. If your current phone works on Spark, it'll work on PureLink Mobile. Same towers, same coverage, friendlier support.

How do I switch to PureLink Mobile?

Switching is genuinely easy. Keep your existing number, bring your own phone, and we'll handle the port from your current provider. Most switches are sorted within a business day or two. Our mobile plans come on a 12 or 24 month term, so you get locked-in pricing and the peace of mind of knowing exactly what you're paying each month. If you'd rather talk to a real person about which plan and term suits you, give the team a call; that's what we're here for.

Frequently asked questions

Are PureLink Mobile plans on a contract?
Yes. Our mobile plans come on either a 12 month or 24 month term, with locked-in pricing for the length of the term. The 24 month option gives you the longest stretch of price certainty, while 12 months keeps things shorter if you prefer.

Can I keep my current mobile number?
Yes. We'll port your existing number across as part of the switch.

Do the plans include international calling?
Unlimited calling and texting is included to New Zealand and Australia. International calls and roaming outside AUS are pay-as-you-go.

Is the data really endless?
Yes. Once your fast-data allowance is used, you keep browsing at reduced speeds for the rest of the month, with no extra charges.

Can I get a family or business discount?
Yes. If you have PureLink internet at home or for your business, you get a bundle discount on each mobile line. The more you bundle, the simpler your bill (and the better the value).

What network does PureLink Mobile use?
The Spark mobile network, for nationwide 4G and 5G coverage.

What happens at the end of my mobile contract? Your plan rolls over month to month on the same pricing until you choose to renew, change plans, or move on. No nasty bill-shock at the end of the term.
